The VersaTube frame/roof distinction matters for site and slab planning
The current VersaTube listing explicitly calls out an 18-ft frame and 20-ft roof cover. That is exactly the dimensional distinction CarportFit is designed to preserve: the roof can extend beyond the frame/base, and a slab or anchor layout may follow manufacturer base geometry rather than the headline roof rectangle. 18 feet nominal width does not settle the two-car question
For side-by-side parking, calculate both vehicle widths plus outside door/walking clearances and the desired gap between vehicles. Posts, braces and roof geometry can reduce actual working width. If your calculated requirement is already close to 18 feet before structure geometry is considered, compare 20×20, 20×24 or 24×24 rather than assuming the smaller class will be comfortable.
